Korea Visa Extension Guide
When can I apply for a visa extension in Korea?
You can apply for a stay extension from up to 4 months before your expiry date, and you must apply before your period of stay ends. Applying after the expiry date is treated as illegal stay.
Considering document preparation and processing time (about 2–4 weeks), applying 1–2 months before expiry is recommended.
